As part of efforts to promote the expansion of the startup ecosystem in the State, Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo, governor of Anambra State, has given youngsters in the state the responsibility of focusing their attention on the digital revolution and innovation.
The Solution Innovation District, or SID, in Awka’s take-off center was being inaugurated at the time by Soludo.
He claimed that the Innovation District will offer training, incubation, and access to capital, serving as a one-stop shop for young people interested in innovation, technology, and entrepreneurship.
Soludo, who unveiled the center, commended the 20,000 Anambra youths who recently took part in the Solution Innovation District’s initial training program, “LevelUp Anambra,” for learning a variety of online digital skills.
SID, he continued, represents the state government’s dedication to the development of Anambra youths.

The current Government House will eventually serve as the permanent location of the Solution Innovation District once he moves into the new government house that is currently being built, he added, thanking Microsoft and the Wootlab Foundation for working with the State government to make the program a reality.
The world might be moving east or west, but Nigeria needs to go through necessary disruptions, he added. Among these changes are the elimination of subsidies and the floating of exchange rates. We opening this district at this crucial period is quite fortunate.
“Our human capital is our most valuable resource, and we want to tap into its boundless elasticity. only those who can predict the future. The future can only be managed by those who plan for it and strive toward it. I urge the youth of our country to see the potential presented by these disruptive events. Human capital gains value over time in the digital era. To govern the future, we need to keep innovating and gaining a variety of scalable talents.
Governor Soludo stated, “We want the youth and children of ndi Anambra to be ready for this future—invention, innovation, and technology.” We have to think about tomorrow. Let’s not beg for the old order to return because it is already gone. Our youth are being empowered and prepared to rule the future and become global champions.
Our moto is technology. We want technology to permeate every aspect of our culture. technology everywhere and in everything! We are not defined by the 0.01 criminals who cause trouble in our community. They mean absolutely nothing.
Earlier, Ms. Chinwe Okoli, the governor’s special adviser on innovation and business incubation, commended the governor for his dedication to putting the vision into practice, noting that it is highly relevant.
You can innovate, develop, ideate, invent, and give your talents wings to fly on a platform called the Solution Innovation District. Yes, there are a lot of talented people here. Wonderful solutions are within your grasp, and guess what? S.I.D. is a location where you can think big, outside the box, and even without a box. The time is here to explore your enormous potentials.
“At SID, we give you a reliable power supply, high-speed internet, standard utilities, and a clean, comfortable office space so you can concentrate on developing your ideal solutions across industries.
“SID programs include company incubation, training in digital skills, business acceleration, angel investing, and outsourcing of the best people outside of Anambra. Additionally, we have plans to democratize innovation through SID micro centers and schools across the country.
According to Mr. Patrick Agha Mba, the commissioner for youth development, and Mr. Christian Udechukwu, the commissioner for industry, the district is in accordance with Governor Soludo’s commitment to the development of Anambra youths.
