Namibia finally won 28-26 on Saturday in Valparaiso, Chile, after falling behind to Chile in a game to prepare for the Rugby World Cup in France (September 8–October 28).

The Namibians trailed by 12 points at the half (19-7) after giving up three tries, but they later turned the game around by scoring three of their own tries.

Along with South Africa, the defending World Cup champions, Namibia is the second African country to participate in the World Cup. They are in Pool A with New Zealand, the hosts France, Italy, and Uruguay.

Meanwhile, Chile will be competing in its inaugural Rugby World Cup. Along with Argentina, Japan, Samoa, and England, it is in Pool D.
