Nigerian Boxer Segun Olanrewaju Passes Away During Fight in Ghana

Nigerian boxer Segun ‘Success’ Olanrewaju tragically passed away on Saturday while competing in Ghana.

Olanrewaju, a former National and West African light-heavyweight champion, was participating in a bout against Ghanaian boxer Jon Mbanugu at Fight Night 15 of the Ghana Professional Boxing League, held at the Bukom Boxing Arena. During the match, he suddenly collapsed in the ring.

Reports suggest that Olanrewaju was leading on points before the incident occurred. A widely circulated video on social media captured the shocking moment he lost consciousness, leaving fans and the boxing community in disbelief.
