Man arrested after throwing Qatari money at crowd on Corniche

After a video of a person throwing Qatari currency at onlookers on the Doha Corniche went viral on social media, competent authorities at the Ministry of Interior (MoI) detained the person.

According to the ministry, the individual was detained and handed over to the Public Prosecution so that legal action could be taken against him.
