According to the Turkish Ministry of Trade, “Turkiye’s exports in July recorded a growth of 8.4%, totaling USD 20.09 billion.”
In the first seven months of this year, Turkiye’s exports of medium-high and high technology grew from 36.9 percent in 2022 to 40.8 percent.
Germany (USD 1.677 billion), Italy (USD 1.103 billion), and the United States of America (USD 1.1 billion) were the top three exporting nations in July.
The exports reached a total of USD 143.4 billion from January to July.
Omer Bolat, the trade minister for Turkiye, noted that “this was accomplished despite the stagnation in global production, particularly in the European Union countries which are the largest export markets for Turkiye.”
The “Turkish government will continue its commitment to strengthening the manufacturing sector, encouraging exports, and improving Turkish companies’ competitiveness on a global scale in the technology and advanced fields,” he added.
