United Arab Emirates: Dubai According to the United Arab Emirates’ civil defense agency, a house fire on Monday in Abu Dhabi resulted in six fatalities and seven injuries.

The cause of the fire that broke out in the city’s Al Moazaz neighborhood is currently the subject of an investigation.

A number of recent fires have plagued the UAE, which have been made worse by flammable cladding materials and rising temperatures that can reach up to 45 degrees Celsius (113 degrees Fahrenheit) in the summer.

In Dubai’s historic Deira area, another flat fire last month left 16 people dead and 9 more injured.

On Saturday, a dust storm and temperatures of 43 degrees Celsius (109 degrees Fahrenheit) were witnessed in Abu Dhabi. Five wooden boats that were anchored in Sharjah Creek caught fire that day, injuring one worker.
