Enjoy Doha’s newest attraction, which features jetcars and pristine waters

Speed, opulent automobiles, and water – not a common sight, but Aquaride Qatar has provided Doha beaches with a brand-new fast car on its waters.

From the conventional to the contemporary, Qatar offers a variety of entertaining and touristic activities. The sports car boat, which is the first in Qatar, offers a unique experience as it travels through the crystal-clear waters of WestBay Beach to the Grand Hyatt and the Lusail Marina.

The car’s design is reminiscent of Ferrari and Chevrolet Corvette, giving it an unmistakably sporty appearance with room for two people. There are no doors, so the driver and passenger climb over the side into the cockpit. The accelerator pedal and steering wheel are similar to those in a sports car for the controls.

The vehicle has a steering wheel, cup holders, a 300 HP Supercharged engine, and break and reverse systems.

Nasser Mahmoud, founder and CEO of Aquaride and an actor, was born and raised here and says he wants to see more of these vehicles on the waters around Doha.

Mahmoud told The Peninsula that it was lovely. “For our customers, the experience is a change of scenery. A change in activity has occurred. The fact that you are driving on water, makes you anxious. I am honored to introduce it to Doha because it is a novel experience, he continued.

Just before the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, Mahmoud opened Aquaride with the goal of providing the world’s quickest and most technologically advanced jetcars.

He claimed that during the competition, there was a lot of attendance.

“It was busy during the World Cup, and even now, despite the windy weather, people continue to visit. The patronage has been uneven, both among residents and locals, but many World Cup fans from Mexico, Saudi Arabia, and Argentina gave it a shot. Up until now, there has been patronage from every category, Mahmoud said.

Customers pay QR800 for 30 minutes in the cars; they pay QR1,300 for an hour. Customers must sign a standard contract and present an original QID or an international passport copy in order to rent a car. The staff also provides them with some safety advice, a life jacket, and instructions on where to go and where not to go because some places are off limits.

Mahmoud said he has four cars at his disposal and plans to expand in the upcoming months with brand-new goods never seen in Doha before. The aspiring businessman urged officials to continue supporting individuals like himself and make it easier to obtain licenses and approvals.

“I love it, and everyone else loves it. It’s been great since we opened. There have been difficulties, yes, but that is part of the appeal. The ups outweigh the downs by a wide margin. We are diversifying our offerings; some products are on the way and none are yet available in Qatar. I promised our customers that we would only provide the best when we first opened,” he says.
