With the arrival of its most recent batch of young Qatari talents, Ooredoo has strengthened its deeply ingrained Qatarization approach.

The newly hired employees recently joined Sheikh Ali bin Jabor bin Mohammed Al Thani, Ooredoo’s chief executive officer, and Mariam Hassan Al Hajri, its chief human resources officer, for a welcome ceremony in the company’s tower.

Additionally present during the celebration were representatives from Carnegie Mellon University Qatar (CMUQ) and the University of Doha for Science and Technology (UDST).

Al Hajri, Fahad Al Hadfa, the UDST Sponsorship Specialist, and Mohammed Mirza, the Senior Career Consultant for CMUQ, all spoke to the crowd throughout the occasion.

“Our corporate strategy includes a firm commitment to attracting, developing, and retaining the best talent, and in particular, the next generation of the best Qatari talent,” stated Sheikh Ali.

We have a strong commitment to helping Qatar in its efforts to carry out the objectives of Qatar National Vision 2030.

Ooredoo has a strong Qatarization plan in place and seeks to be the employer of choice for young talent in the nation. The company’s corporate vision of being a caring, connecting, and challenging employer is evidenced by the exciting developmental possibilities it offers, as well as the chance to participate in cutting-edge innovation and the most cutting-edge technology, solutions, and services available today.

Every course in its Qatarization project has comprehensive support throughout the learning and development process.

“We were thrilled to celebrate the beginning of the careers of our newest intake and to wish them luck as they pursue their dreams.

“We see young, talented, and ambitious Qataris as the future of our company, and indeed of our country, and are confident that their enthusiasm, commitment, and dedication will deliver great results for Ooredoo and Qatar,” said Al Hajri.
