Victor Wembanyama will join the summer team in Las Vegas, according to Spurs

The NBA summer debut of Victor Wembanyama is currently anticipated to take place in Las Vegas.

Wembanyama, the top choice in this year’s draft, will be with the San Antonio Spurs at the NBA Summer League, which gets underway on July 7.

The Spurs will be without Wembanyama when they head to Sacramento later this week for the California Classic, the first of their two summer league games.

Prior to traveling to Las Vegas for the league’s main summer league, the Spurs’ summer club will play games in Sacramento on July 3 and July 5.

According to the Spurs, Wembanyama will meet the group in Las Vegas. He is anticipated to start working out this week in San Antonio with the Spurs summer team.

On July 7, the Spurs will play Charlotte in the first game of their summer schedule in Las Vegas. This game may pit Wembanyama against Hornets No. 2 lottery pick Brandon Miller.

Wembanyama will also be present at the inaugural NBA Con event on July 8 in Las Vegas.
