During an event in Doha on Sunday, EcoTranzit Company introduced Qatar’s first electric car brand under its sole intellectual property rights in the presence of the Transport Minister H E Jassim bin Saif Al Sulaiti.
Along with other esteemed dignitaries and government representatives, the event was attended by the Minister of Environment and Climate Change, H E Sheikh Dr. Faleh bin Nasser bin Ahmed bin Ali Al Thani, the Minister of State and Chairman of the Qatar Free Zones Authority, H E Ahmad Al Sayed, the Chairman of the Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry, H E Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim Al Thani, the President of Kahramaa, Engineer Essa bin Hilal Al Ku

During his speech, H E Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Thani, the chairman of EcoTranzit, expressed his excitement for this noteworthy accomplishment, saying: “We are thrilled to embark on this remarkable venture within our beloved nation through the introduction of these cutting-edge electric vehicles.
“Our primary goal is to reinvent the field of intelligent mobility by providing vehicles that are considerate of the environment and that smoothly combine cutting-edge design, excellent specifications, and useful models appropriate for a range of applications. We are devoted to protecting the environment, improving the standard of living for coming generations, and building a healthy and sustainable future.
Sheikh Khalifa stated in a statement to The Peninsula that “Qatar’s dedicated focus on transforming public transport into a sustainable and eco-friendly system was a motivating factor for our company to enter the Qatari market.”

“Qatar plans to convert 25% of private vehicles into electric vehicles,” he continued. He emphasised their dedication to creating and funding electric automobiles. We worked with our international partners to establish exclusive intellectual property rights for the cars revealed today as a crucial first step. Our intention is to create and produce our own cars,” he declared.
The Chinese business Baw Qingdao International, one of EcoTranzit’s international partners, said they were “delighted to cooperate with EcoTranzit,” according to Fedya Jia, vice general manager of the company. Our business is excited to grow in Qatar and work with EcoTranzit more in the future.
EcoTranzit Saad Doukali, a co-founder and board member, reaffirmed the organization’s strong commitment to building the required infrastructure for electric charging stations alongside the Qatari government.
According to him, Qatar’s 2030 strategy calls for the construction of 30,000 EV charging stations by 2027. The general public will get free access to the approved charging stations until 2029 for their electric vehicles.
