UBA GMD completes its first year of significant service

The management of United Bank for Africa (UBA) Plc has made clear that it is committed to improving customer service and is hopeful that this would lead to greater success for both its clients and shareholders.

Oliver Alawuba, Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of UBA, promised investors and clients that the best is yet to come when he made this promise in Lagos yesterday to commemorate his first year in office.

The bank has celebrated significant business victories across various markets thanks to the efforts of its team and other internal stakeholders, the GMD said in a statement thanking them for the many successes attained over the past year and reaffirming the bank’s position as a premier financial institution in the area.

In his words, “Through our combined efforts, we have recorded significant business wins across our various markets, improved on our financial performance, enhanced customer service delivery, and are on the way to achieving a more connected Brand. These achievements have not only strengthened the bank’s standing but have also provided a solid foundation for even greater achievements in the future.”
