At the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC), the inaugural Qatar Toy Festival gets underway today. The event, which runs until August 5, has as its compelling topic, “Live the Tales and Enjoy the Games.” With an astonishing display of more than 25 recognized toy brands from throughout the world, it is sure to amaze visitors.
Famous names like Barbie, Blippi, Bluey, Cocomelon, Disney, HapeeCapee, Marvel, Fortnite, and Transformers are included on the list of cooperating brands. This significant occasion is a component of Qatar Tourism’s vibrant and varied “Feel Summer in Qatar” program.
Members of the media were given an inside look at what festival visitors may expect during a special preview that was hosted yesterday. The wandering acts’ presence delighted attendees and popular mascots like Barney, Cocomelon, and Angry Birds, among others. Giant bears dressed in brilliant hues including blue, pink, yellow, red, and turquoise will welcome visitors as they enter the DECC, fostering a joyful and childish mood.
Tickets are required for entry into the festival, and there are a number of choices. The price of the ordinary ticket is QR50, while the price of the gold ticket is QR100. Families can purchase a QR400 family bundle that allows access for five people. For those looking for a more opulent experience, the VVIP ticket, which costs QR1,500, provides access to a lounge.
Four unique regions, suitably termed islands, make up the festival. These include Fancy Land, created for kids ages 4 to 12, which features cherished icons like Barbie, My Little Pony, Disney Princess, and Hayati Girl and a Fancy Land café specifically.
Ages 5 to 15 are catered for at Champions Land, which features Nerf, Marvel, Transformers, Beybattle Burst, Free Fire, Hot Wheels, and Fortnite as well as other popular brands. Children between the ages of 2 and 6 will enjoy the attractions of Cutie Pie, which feature Blippi, Cocomelon, The Smurfs, and Bluey. Last but not least, Hyper Land offers activities themed around well-known brands like Scrabble, Race, Monopoly, Angry Birds, and Sonic the Hedgehog to children aged 5 to 15.
The festival ticket includes admission to Rasha Rizk’s performances on Friday, July 14, and Saturday, July 15, according to the organizers. Syrian singer-songwriter Rizk is honored for her work with Venus Centre, a Syrian animation dubbing business, and for singing the Arabic theme songs.

More than 15 live stage acts, including mesmerizing appearances by Louna Land, Strawberry Shortcake, The Smurfs, Barney, Miraculous, Bluey, My Little Pony, and many others, will also wow festival goers. The event will be open from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. on weekdays and from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m. on weekends.
