According to a statement provided to The Peninsula, Qatar Tourism (QT) has outlined its complete plans to court foreign visitors and market Qatar as a desirable summer vacation spot.

The strategic efforts that would be put into place to draw tourists from all over the world were described by Berthold Trenkel, the Chief Operating Officer of Qatar Tourism.

The open visa policy of Qatar, which places it as the Middle East’s most accessible nation and the eighth most accessible nation overall in terms of visa facilitation, is a crucial tactic used by Qatar Tourism, according to Trenkel.

Qatar wants to welcome and draw tourists from all over the world and has already granted visa-free entry to 100 nationalities. Visitors visiting Qatar will have a seamless experience thanks to the recent development of the Hayya Platform, which significantly streamlined and harmonized the tourist visa procedures. “Feel More in Qatar,” Qatar Tourism’s main brand platform, is extremely important in positioning the nation as a distinctive and genuine travel destination. The platform highlights Qatar’s rich culture, tradition, cuisine, and gracious hospitality through a variety of marketing campaigns.

Seasonal variations of the platform are introduced to accommodate various traveler types year-round. For families and adventurers, “Feel Winter in Qatar” offered a variety of indoor and outdoor activities, while “Eid in Qatar” offered appealing discounts, promotions, and entertainment to mark the festive occasion.

According to Trenkel, “Looking ahead, our summer campaign is set to offer a dynamic season of events for both residents and visitors.”

The eagerly awaited Qatar Live program, which includes a lineup of performances and events, will remain a feature. The development of fresh and groundbreaking events also seeks to enthrall guests and give them an amazing experience. These programs aim to establish Qatar as a must-visit summer destination by fostering an irresistible and dynamic atmosphere there throughout the summer months.

Trenkel also emphasized how the summer campaign will make a significant contribution to Qatar’s long-term tourism plan: “Qatar Tourism’s summer campaign goes above and beyond in its efforts to attract tourists by offering a packed schedule of activities, enticing hotel promotions, and creating a vibrant atmosphere throughout the country.”

Qatar Tourism has put together an intriguing list of suggestions and events for the summer campaign that will appeal to a variety of interests.

Qatar Tourism wants to give guests a wonderful summertime experience, offering everything from family-friendly activities to exhilarating water sports, engaging indoor wonders, cultural offerings at museums and libraries, and a wide choice of shopping possibilities at varied malls across the nation. In addition, they have created a top ten list of Qatar beaches to highlight the nation’s beautiful coastal attractions.
