Prince Philip: William pays tribute to ‘extraordinary’ grandfather

The Duke of Cambridge has paid tribute to his grandfather, the Duke of Edinburgh, describing him as “an extraordinary man” from “an extraordinary generation”.

“I will miss my Grandpa, but I know he would want us to get on with the job,” Prince William said in a statement.

Prince Philip died at Windsor Castle on Friday aged 99.

It comes as parliaments across the UK were recalled to remember to the duke.
