Organ donation awareness is raised through Doha Festival City and HMC

1 min read

As part of its Festival Cares CSR program, Doha Festival City has teamed up with Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) for an organ donation campaign. Through this partnership, we hope to increase public awareness of the life-saving benefits of organ donation and the critical role it plays in altering lives.

Visitors can learn important information about the organ donation process and its significance by visiting the Organ Donation Booth at the Atrium Node at Doha Festival City from July 20 to August 31.

The advertising campaign focuses on how one action can save a life and vastly enhance the wellbeing of the recipient. HMC experts will be on hand at the booth to offer knowledgeable assistance and respond to any questions visitors may have. In order to make a difference, visitors will also have the chance to sign the donation consent form and acquire a donor card.

“Our Organ Donation campaign exemplifies our unwavering dedication to the wellbeing of our community,” said Robert Hall, general manager of Doha Festival City, in an emotional thank-you letter to HMC for this outstanding partnership. We hope to provide our visitors with important information regarding organ donation, its significant effects, and the value of making educated decisions through this campaign.

The program has been crucial in increasing public awareness of organ donation, claims Dr. Riadh Fadhil, Director of the Qatar Organ Donation Center. At the awareness booth, the center’s medical, nursing, and administrative staff converse with visitors while outlining the center’s vision, mission, and goals.
