The lifting device may have come in contact with the body-in-white and/or the right longitudinal member during the transport of the body-in-white in the factory, possibly resulting in surface damage, according to the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, in collaboration with Nasser Bin Khaled Automobiles, Qatar’s Mercedes-Benz dealership.
The Ministry said that the recall campaign is part of its ongoing efforts to safeguard consumers and make sure that auto shops follow up on repairs and problems.
In order to ensure that the required repairs are made, the Ministry stated that it will work with the dealer to follow up on the maintenance and repair work. It will also interact with customers.
The Consumer Protection and Anti-Commercial Fraud Department, which handles complaints, inquiries, and suggestions through authorized channels, has received a call from the Ministry urging all clients to report any infractions.
