Lookman is named the season’s top player for Atlanta

Ademola Lookman, a striker with the Super Eagles, has been chosen as the Atalanta Player of the Season.

Last season, Lookman helped Gian Piero Gasperini’s team in all competitions with 15 goals and eight assists.

The 25-year-old received the most votes, followed by Marten de Roon in third place and Teun Koopmeiners in second place.

Lookman relocated from Bundesliga club RB Leipzig to Atalanta last summer.

The Nigerian’s excellent performances from the previous campaign were crucial in securing La Dea’s spot in the UEFA Europa League.
