For the All Progressives Congress’s final rally, the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) has proposed three alternate routes to the Teslim Balogun stadium in Surulere (APC).

Tuesday is the planned day for the rally.

The alternative routes were suggested because Bola Tinubu, the APC presidential candidate, and his supporters would be making their way from the nearby airport to the stadium, according to a statement released on Sunday by Bolaji Oreagba, the general manager of LASTMA.

It is advised for all party faithful and supporters attending the rally to use the following alternate routes to the venue, Oreagba said, “considering the procession of APC Presidential Candidate and his Party Stalwarts, Party Faithful, and Supporters from the Local Airport to Stadium.”

Third Mainland Bridge, Adeniji Adele Interchange, Carter Bridge (Idumota Bridge), Ijora Olopa by LAWMA Headquarters, Eko Bridge, and Alaka Stadium are all in the route.

Utilize the following routes from Agege: Jibowu Herbert, Macaulay Way, Adekunle Third Mainland Bridge, Adeniji Adele Interchange, Carter Bridge (Idumota Bridge), Ijora Olopa by LAWMA Headquarters, Eko Bridge, Alaka, and stadium.

Use the following route from the Apapa-Oshodi Expressway: Orile – Iganmu Bridge – Costain – Iponri – Alaka – stadium.

“To encourage order and the free flow of traffic (both human and vehicular traffic) in and around the venue, designated parking lots are available at the stadium.

Assuring you of an adequate deployment of security and law enforcement personnel along these routes, we ask for your cooperation and support before, during, and after the rally in order to minimize discomfort, speed up travel times, and improve protection of lives and property.
