Seif Mohammed, Ashraf Hussain, and Muaz Ibrahim, all members of Team Qatar, won gold medals yesterday at the 15th Arab Games 2023 in Algiers, the capital of Algeria. Mohammed triumphed in the pole vault competition, Hussain triumphed in the 400-meter final, and Ibrahim won the discus throw competition. Omar Dawood won the bronze medal in the 110-meter hurdles final yesterday as well. Hammdy Al Ameen (top) won the silver medal in the high jump earlier, and Qatar’s para-athlete Abdulrahman Abdulqader (right) added a medal to his collection by winning the bronze yesterday in the shot put competition. At the Games, which will feature about 3500 competitors from 22 countries competing in a total of 17 events, Qatar is taking part with 104 athletes.
