A Mission Possible: From one dollar to incredible success

When Laura Allaberdina talks about her love of dogs, her eyes shine. They are her life’s work for her; they are not simply pets.

Laura decided to follow her ambition and become a professional dog trainer after working for more than 15 years in the country’s aviation business. Her decision had a profound impact on her life. Today, she is regarded as an inspiration in Qatar for having started her business from scratch, Mission Pawssible, with the tagline “Trust, Train, and Transform.”

In her early years, Laura developed a fondness for dogs and fantasized of having several different furry friends. She had no idea that in Qatar, where she had lived since 2004, her aspirations would come true. She exuded confidence includes a German Shepherd, Golden Retriever, Great Dane, and numerous rescued pets among its five wonderful dogs. She devotes her time to giving seminars for rescue organizations, organizations, and individual rescuers as a fervent supporter of dog rescues in an effort to aid dogs in finding forever homes.

The founding of Mission Pawssible was a joint effort by Laura’s clients and friends who appreciated her distinctive training methodology. “My clients came up with the name, and everyone approved,” the speaker explains. Thus, Mission Pawsible was established, becoming the first dog training business in Qatar.

Laura faced obstacles along the way to success. Her toughest battle, cancer, came in 2022. She says of her most recent year, “It was one of the worst years of my life, but with the help of my family, friends, and my dogs, I made it through. We’re relieved that we made it through.

Mission The foundation of Laura’s philosophy is embodied in Pawssible’s motto, “Trust, Train, Transform,” which is more than just a slogan. Training the dog and educating the owner are both first steps in the process. The importance of a big portion of her job involves changing the behavior of the owners, which in turn affects the dogs.

Laura is adamant that in order to comprehend their dog’s behavior, the furparent must also educate themselves. She counsels that you “need to train yourself to understand your dog’s behavior.” “Your dog will respond positively when you make routine changes, exhibit discipline, and provide mental and physical stimulation.”

Mission Pawssible provides a range of training opportunities, including as group workshops in Al Bidda Park and online classes during the pandemic. The “Perfect Pup Program,” which exposes puppies to new experiences and other puppies to give them a good start in life, is one of the most effective programs.

Many dogs’ lives have been changed by Laura’s training, and the success tales are endearing. Luna, a dog who was hostile to both humans and other dogs, is one such example. After being with Laura for a few weeks, Luna started acting friendly and loving, which astounded her furparents.
Under Laura’s direction, rescue canines like Chester and Jolly also received a new lease on life. Chester, who was once violent and dominant, now lives in peace, and Jolly overcame her concerns to develop into a loving partner.

Her knowledge is the result of extensive training and experience. She received her training from a prominent Russian behaviorist and holds credentials from the International Animal Behavior Association (IAABC), the Pet Professional Guild (PPG), and the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers (CPDT).

Her advice to furparents is straightforward but effective: “Trust your dog, invest time in properly training them, and you’ll witness tremendous results. Dogs require our love, care, and attention just like our children do. The best gifts you can give them are regular walks and exposure to other canines.

It is very amazing how far Laura has come since arriving in Qatar with just one dollar and becoming one of the top dog trainers. She says with gratitude, “Everything I have now is because of Qatar – the beauty of this nation and the chances it provides.

She ends by urging folks to persevere with their dogs despite behavioral issues. Every dog is capable of change with time, effort, and professional direction.

The story of Laura Allaberdina serves as a reminder that anything is attainable with trust, preparation, and tenacity.
