Thursday’s matchup between Ghana’s Black stars and Cristiano Ronaldo’s Portugal will be the team’s fourth appearance in the esteemed international competition.

The Ghanaian team is comprised of up-and-coming young athletes making their international debuts.

The only athletes to have participated in a World Cup are the Ayew brothers.

By imitating Saudi Arabia, who were viewed as a weaker team, the team, captained by Andrew Ayew, hopes to shock the 2016 European champions Portugal.

“Saudi Arabia has done some amazing things, but we also need to look at ourselves. It is useless to watch what other people are doing. We put a lot of effort into getting ready for this game, and we want to win, Ayew declared.

Portugal, on the other hand, will feature Cristiano, who has left Manchester United.

Ruben Dias, a Portuguese defender, hopes to defeat Ghana so that they can shock the European giants. He stated that their mentality is to evaluate each game individually.

“Right now, the only thing on our mind is beating Ghana.” Everything will be different if we do not defeat Ghana. The national team’s philosophy is to think game by game. We truly believe that this is the best way to create the winning journey that we all desire.

As a result, the focus is solely on defeating Ghana,” Dias explained.
